Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Recruitment Intern to join our HR team. As a Recruitment Intern, you will assist in sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for various roles within the company. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruitment and talent acquisition processes while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in sourcing and attracting qualified candidates for open positions through job boards, social media, and other channels.
• Screen resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
• Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and interview feedback.
• Help with the preparation of job descriptions, job postings, and recruitment materials.
• Participate in job fairs, campus recruitment events, and other talent acquisition initiatives (if applicable).
• Assist in managing recruitment reports and tracking key metrics, such as time-to-hire and source of hire.
• Provide administrative support to the HR team, including organizing recruitment files, correspondence, and scheduling meetings.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Eagerness to learn about the recruitment and talent acquisition processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous internship or work experience in HR or recruitment is a plus.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of various sourcing techniques and recruitment platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri, etc.
