We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Advisor-Recruitment Officer preferably conversant within the construction industry to be based at our Head Office in Campsie. An amazing opportunity awaits the right candidate, looking to challenge themselves and be a part of a dedicated team of professionals.

The Role

You will report directly to the CEO and will work closely with other relevant managers and staff alike, to manage the end-to-end recruitment-onboarding process ensuring compliance across the operations.

You will be responsible for providing high level service to the organisation in all matters relating to recruitment and onboarding. Functions and activities include, but are not limited to the following:

Recruitment

Drive the recruitment process from end to end including generating/posting ads, candidate searches, pre-screens, coordinate interviews, through to contract generation, etc. Leveraging all recruitment tools available (internal & external), closely monitoring applications, liaison with applicants, etc.

Provide advice & support to managers throughout recruitment process.

Reporting via a recruitment dashboard on a weekly basis providing status update e.g. current open placements, respective applications, closed & completed campaigns.

Onboarding/Induction

Drive the onboarding/induction process for site & non-site-based employees.

Compliance - ensuring all relevant documentation/information is accurately completed in accordance with Planet Plumbing’s Management System (e.g. pre-employment, medical status, etc.) – informing all relevant parties on new starters, etc.

Provide advice & support to managers throughout onboarding/induction process.

HR Support

Provide guidance & support to both employees & management on HR matters e.g. policies, employee relations, etc.

Provide departmental support/advise on any ad-hoc HR-related matters as they arise.

What we’re looking for;

Our ideal candidate is extremely motivated, results oriented and has proven experience in recruitment & onboarding.

Your ability to communicate and influence desirable outcomes are natural skills you possess while attention to detail & a keen eye for process improvement is at the forefront of your capabilities.

Having worked within the construction industry would be advantageous
