Job Summary

The Automotive Technician will work closely with both the service team and customers, providing exceptional service and support.
Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
Assemble and disassemble automotive components as needed for repairs.
Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs needed and services provided.
Assist in welding tasks when necessary to ensure vehicle integrity.
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with automotive technology advancements
Qualifications
Proven experience in automotive repair, preferably within a dealership setting.
Have a valid Motor Vehicle Inspection License
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems.
Familiarity with using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and schematics effectively.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during vehicle repairs.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
