Job Description
We are a custom furniture shop seeking an experienced furniture frame maker / Joiner/ Cabinet Maker to join our team. You will be responsible for building and fabrication of furniture, installations, and casework. You must be able to build tables, desks, nightstands, dressers, millwork, furniture frames, etc. in a precise and timely manner.
There will be a 3 month probation period to determine if the candidate will be an ideal fit.
The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:
- Ability to read blueprints, details and construction documents
- 10 years experience in cabinet, furniture making
- Finish carpentry skills required
- Experience with power tools (table saw, band saw, routers, etc.) required. Knowledge of laminating a plus
- Installation of furniture and custom interiors a plus
- Tracks and reports time and materials spent on various projects
- Sense of urgency
