Job Description
• Installation and Patching of Standalone as well as clustered instances of SQL Server with SSIS/SSRS installation configuration
• Should be able to Provide support for all versions of SQL Starting from 2012 to SQL 2026
• Hardening SQL Server as per WNS Standard DB Hardening policy
• Providing support for upgrade to higher versions
• Knowledge on Implementation of DR using log shipping, Always on etc.
• Hands on experience on performance tuning, Clustering and Always on
• Providing support for Backup/Restores and cloning of databases
• Providing support for troubleshooting all issues related to DB
• Hands on experience in development of ETLs using SSIS
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL instance on Windows
• Knowledge of AWS RDS PostgreSQL Administration
• candidate must have hands on development experience on SQL query optimization and experience about performance troubleshooting
