Role Description:
The Reference Data Analyst focuses on effective oversight of strategic data used across the bank's systems and infrastructure. Reference data, either sourced externally or generated internally,
covers a wide range of critical enterprise-wide information such as pricing, securities, books, financial products, clients, legal entities, accounts and mandates.
The ORDS function within CIB Operations provides the end-to-end framework for the Bank to manage its clients. ORDS provides Client Onboarding, Client Reference Data, Account Management, Fulfilment Services, Regulatory and Tax Compliance and KYC functions.
The client reference data held within DB's Client Onboarding and KYC platforms is fundamental DB's success across many functions ranging from client communications, client identification, regulatory and tax compliance and overall Know Your Customer requirements imposed on the Bank from various Global Regulators

Your key responsibilities:
• Close partnership is needed with stakeholders such as Front Office, Middle Office, Audit, Compliance and Regulatory Reporting to deliver solutions that balance immediate business priorities with long term strategic objectives.
• The Reference Data Analyst supports various elements of the data lifecycle, from ensuring that data is captured from the best source, to validating and classifying, and operating controls that optimize its quality and maximize coverage
• The Reference Data Analyst has responsibility for maintaining robust processes related to data set-up, storage, and distribution, as well as system configuration, together with participation in projects designed to streamline infrastructure and improve efficiency
• Detailed understanding of the data challenges and the design/co-ordination of remediation plans
• Manage delivery against agreed timelines and milestones with key stakeholders / Business
• Progress tracking and reporting through agreed KRI and KPIs
• Securing and qualifying data sources in collaboration with the Data Analytics team to support the remediation process
• Review and implementation of departmental and function specific Operating Procedures (KOP)
• Working with Business Analyst and technology resource to design systematic change
Your skills and experience:
• 0-5 years of relevant work experience within corporate financial services industry, Research/Analytics role in other Banks / KPOs etc
• Experience in client Reference data.
• Ability to work with Master Data Management tools, DQ tools, tableau, and SQL
• Strong and well-developed relationship / stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage large data production and remediation projects
• Experience in Data Management, Data Analytics, Business Analysis and Financial Services
• Strong and well-developed relationship / stakeholder management skills
• Open minded, able to share information, knowledge, and expertise with peers & team members
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and local language (written/verbal) as appropriate
