Job Description
As a Vice President in PUMA Pricing Operations, you will work in a leadership role with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to oversee the daily pricing operations. You will be expected to clearly communicate process implementation, risks and quality control procedures to management, clients and employees while adapting to changes in technology, regulations and market conditions. You play an important role in the support and development of the staff, foster a collaborative team environment and use sound judgement to make informed decisions based on data analysis risk assessment and business goals. PUMA Pricing Operations offers the opportunity to work within a hybrid environment.
Job Responsibilities
Creating and maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment for the team.
Implement and refine operational procedures to drive operational excellence, improve efficiency and ensure standardization across our Global Operating Model.
Provide subject matter expertise support to downstream teams and clients.
Liaise with internal/external stakeholders including clients, pricing vendors and auditors to resolve issues, proactively mitigate risk and execute remediation plans.
Participate in client meetings to resolve client queries promptly and professionally and work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, department SOPs and company policies.
Manage and train operational staff including hiring, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Bachelor degree with preference in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
Strong leadership capabilities, high integrity and excellent people management skills.
Inclusive leadership skills with the ability to work effectively across different groups and regions.
Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement.
Ability to effectively communicate and interact across different departments and management levels.
Establish robust control frameworks and procedures
Demonstrate strong client focus and ability to adjust to changing circumstances.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
8+ years in an operational leadership role, preferably in asset pricing or fund accounting.
Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
Ability to effectively maximize delivery of business goals and financial objectives.
