Responsibilities
Install, service, and repair air conditioning units and HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
Perform routine maintenance on mechanical equipment, including boilers, geothermal heat pumps, in floor heating systems, commercial refrigeration systems, air cool chillers, pumps, and some automation systems.
Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics and technical manuals; diagnose Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades of HVAC systems.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
Assist in the development of maintenance schedules to prevent system failures and prolong equipment lifespan.
Qualifications
Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic
Class B or A Gasfitter will be considered an asset
Valid Drivers License
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
Ability to work and think on your feet and make decisions
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with new and existing customers
The need and will to want to communicate with a team
Experience working with boilers, HVAC systems, and other building mechanical systems.
Skilled in construction practices related to mechanical installations or repairs.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48.00-$56.58 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
