The Role:
Lindsay Transport is currently seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic to join our Coffs Harbour team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leading first class transportation company and play a key part in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses every day to meet their logistics and transportation needs.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Inspect vehicles refrigeration systems to ensure that they are fully functioning and to identify and faults or repairs that need to be done
Fabricate and assemble parts for the refrigerator
Solder and weld parts into place where necessary
Check vehicles before they leave the depot to make sure fridges are fully functioning
Fix faults and repairs on trailer fridges
Carry out repairs and servicing in line with manufactures requirements
Write and submit reports on issues
About You:
To be successful for this role applicant must have:
Mechanical Trade qualification
Experience with Thermo King fridges (highly desirable)
Experience working on prime movers or heavy vehicle trailers
Effective diagnostic skills, ideally on Kenworth, DAF, Cummins & BPW
Proven competence in repairs and rebuilds
Significant welding experience
Own basic tools (specialist tools are provided) (tool allowance paid)
Basic computer skills
Clear and concise communication skills

Pass a Commercial Health Assessment including drug and ******* test
