We are seeking an experienced Apprentice or Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team!

The Details
Our ideal candidate will possess a background in HVAC and refrigeration service, with customer service experience and the ability to work well within a team. This role requires proficiency with diagnostic service work, performing high quality repairs, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and as designed.
As part of our team you will work with a variety of systems, including packaged HVAC and gas heat systems, heat pumps, restaurant refrigeration equipment, and ice machines, and will be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Diagnose mechanical, refrigeration, and controls issues in various systems and equipment.
Perform repairs on HVAC systems, R290 appliances, and commercial refrigeration.
Communicate directly with clients, complete job reports, invoices, and quotes.
Install heat pump systems in both new construction and retrofit environments.
Read and interpret schematics to understand systems wiring and troubleshoot problems effectively.
Operation and care of a company service vehicle.
Participate in an On-Call schedule rotation.
Conduct routine maintenance and assessment of various equipment.
Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately.
Experience
Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Interest in learning and expanding knowledge to remain current in the trade.
Ability to perform high quality work independently and with accountability.
Experience in HVAC/R Service work as a Refrigeration Mechanic or Apprentice.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
Familiarity with commercial HVAC systems, restaurant refrigeration, ice machines, and heat pump systems.
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
