Cooler is looking for a qualified Transport Refrigeration Technician to join our team servicing and repairing transport refrigeration systems on refrigerated trucks and fleet vehicles.
You’ll be working alongside experienced technicians in a hands-on workshop environment, solving real mechanical and refrigeration problems and supporting customers across the cold-chain transport industry.
The Role
This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing and servicing transport refrigeration equipment used on refrigerated trucks and commercial vehicles.
Typical work includes diagnosing faults on transport refrigeration systems, servicing and repairing refrigeration units on fleet vehicles, refrigerant leak detection and re-gassing, electrical diagnostics and control system troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and completing service reports and job documentation.
You’ll be working with a team that values practical problem solving, quality workmanship and helping each other get the job done.
What We’re Looking For
Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of jobs
Pride in workmanship and a positive team attitude
Highly Regarded
Experience with transport refrigeration systems (Thermo King, Carrier etc.)
Heavy vehicle experience
Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical manuals
MR or HR driver’s licence or willingness to obtain
