Job Title: Class 2 Refuse Drivers
Location: Manchester / M23 9LF
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Contract Type: Temp 2 Perm

A trusted partner to organizations operating in the public sector are seeking a Class 2 Refuse Driver to join the temp on a temp to perm basis. The role will be driving refuse trucks in various locations around Manchester and disposing of the public’s waste.
You will be working in a team which will include yourself as the Driver and a number of Loaders, as the Driver you will also be expected to load the rubbish onto the vehicle as well as drive.
The hours of work are Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm, sometime 3pm depending on what location you are covering that day. The successful candidate will need to attend an induction and then will start immediately.
The role does require you to have a full UK Class 2 licence, a valid CPC and Tacho Card, and 3 years minimum driving experience.
The duties of the Class 2 Refuse Driver will include:
• Operating Class 2 refuse vehicle across designated routes
• Working in a team
• Driving and loading
• Liaising with the public
• Collecting rubbish from bins in public locations
We are looking for a Class 2 Refuse Drivers with:
• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Minimum 3 years’ HGV driving experience
• Experience within a similar role
In return you will receive a salary of £14.00 per hour.
