Job Description
Function/Department: Rural Banking
Job Purpose:
The incumbent would be responsible for the complete upkeep of the branches in a particular region. He/ She would manage branch launches, monitoring and reporting, and compliance of the branches in the specified region while liaising the central branch control team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Conduct service audit of branches with observations related to branch upkeep.
• Supporting branch launches in the assigned region.
• Visit branches in the assigned region periodically to check on the SOP hygiene of the branch.
• Responsible for the monthly statutory and internal reporting for the region. i.e. (Cash balance, counterfeit reporting, Ramp details etc.).
• Liaison with central BCU team for improvements and resolutions for critical queries in branches in the region.
• Ensure training and improvement program for branches are conducted in the region.
• Responsible for compliance and audit related activities of the branches in the region
• Review Internal Audit report of each branch in the region with the BCU team.
• Review of KRI data of the branches in the region and subsequent action
• Review and monitor quarterly self-control testing at branches.
• Keep learning and keeping self, abreast of statutory norms and regulations governing the branch banking business.
• Good understanding of company systems policies procedures and standards
Educational Qualifications:
Graduate: Any Graduate
Post-Graduate: Any Post-Graduate
Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
