Job Overview:
The Regional Branch Leader is accountable for overseeing multiple branches to ensure outstanding customer service, achieving growth targets, optimizing operational performance, and developing branch staff. Qualifications:
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in banking, finance, business, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of leadership or management experience in retail banking, preferably overseeing multiple locations.
• Active participation in community organizations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities across the region.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, banking software, and office equipment.
• Strong ability to train, mentor, and develop branch managers and staff.
• Proven expertise in sales, relationship management, and regional business growth.
• Knowledge of retail banking products and services; experience with consumer and small business loan origination preferred.
• Compliance with federal, state, and local loan origination regulations, including the SAFE Act.
Regional Branch Oversight:
• Allocate time to manage and support high-value client relationships across branches, approximately 20% of workload.
• Design and implement regional sales strategies and promotional campaigns to meet targets and exceed quality standards.
• Ensure seamless coordination and delivery of financial products and services across branches, including customized lending, cash management, and investment solutions.
• Drive regional growth initiatives for both consumer and small business markets, ensuring adherence to daily, weekly, and strategic objectives.
Team Leadership:
• Oversee recruitment, evaluation, development, promotion, and, if necessary, separation of branch managers and staff.
• Coach and mentor branch managers to build the necessary skills for branch operations, including technical expertise in consumer and small business lending.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and training across the region as needed.
Operational and Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure all branches comply with operational efficiency, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on all banking regulations and ensure regional adherence to internal policies.
• Maintain knowledge of policies regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other applicable regulations across all branches.
