Reports To: VP of Revenue Cycle
Vantage Senior Care is seeking an experienced and highly organized Regional Business Office Manager to support our supportive living communities throughout Chicago and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong Illinois Medicaid knowledge, business office leadership experience, and the ability to oversee multiple communities while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and financial performance.
The Regional Business Office Manager will work closely with community Business Office Managers, operations leadership, and corporate teams to support admissions, Medicaid processes, collections, compliance, and business office operations across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Review all new admissions to Supportive Living Facilities (SLF) for Medicaid financial eligibility
• Ensure all Medicaid Pending admissions are approved only after the BOM/RBOM has finalized and made a recommendation for admission
• Oversee Medicaid applications, redeterminations, and appeals across all assigned facilities
• Ensure eligible SLF residents maintain continued eligibility through redetermination or readmission
• Monitor and ensure compliance for Tax Credit applicable buildings/units, including AMI requirements for each unit/building
• Prepare and submit monthly reporting to Corporate Office related to pending cases, collections, and related business office matters
• Oversee the BOM monthly process for PAP logs submitted to Corporate Office
• Support and oversee the move-in process and business office procedures within each community
• Ensure Business Office Managers are maintaining timely and accurate deposits
• Work directly and indirectly with residents, families, and team members to obtain documentation needed for Medicaid applications and continued retention
• Ensure facility BOMs are collecting all monies due from private pay rent and services in a timely manner
• Ensure all required records are maintained and submitted accurately, timely, and in compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, including:
• HFS
• DHS
• LIHTC
• HOME
• IHDA
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of Microsoft Office experience
• Minimum 5 years of Medicaid application experience
• Minimum 4 years of Business Office Manager experience
• Strong knowledge of Illinois Medicaid
• Experience overseeing multi-site business office functions preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Must be able to commute throughout Chicago and surrounding areas
• Must be willing to travel up to 90%
Compensation
$70,000 – $85,000 annually, based on experience
