Operations management
•
• Drive Operational excellence & New Business growth across region
• Build Effective and Competitive Distribution Model for Region
• Ensure Operational process compliance and implementation as per customer needs and agreed SOP
• Build Capabilities to serve internal as well as external customers
• Reductions in overall distribution spend as per agreed budget. By way of Consolidations, Milkruns and other modes.
• Drive Cost optimization & Efficiency improvement initiatives
• Increase Brand Visibility & Reach
• Daily/Monthly/Weekly MIS reporting Maintenance
• Monitor & Review of vendor attached vehicles for Better utilization and Route cost
• Regional P & L management
•
• Responsible for Regional P&L of Distribution business
• P & L Analysis and trends to understand and deploy corrective and improvement actions
• Vendor Management
•
• Identify, evaluate, appoint and manage quality vendors by assessing market deployment, quality, price competitiveness, security and service reliability.
• Monthly Vendor performance review & action plan to improve service levels
• Monitoring vendor invoice evaluation, processing & compliance and timely payments
• Customer relationship Management
•
• Facilitate Responses to RFQ / Tenders / New Opportunities on rates / commercial/Solution
• QBR and MBR of Customers of the Region
• Monitoring customer KPI and management
• Receivables Management –On time and correct Billing
• Customer escalation handling, Proactively take actions to reduce complaints
• Support in cross selling with BD team of existing customers
• Team Management & Leadership
•
• Guiding / motivating / training subordinates for qualitative work to ensure organizational and budgetary objectives are met
• Build Team culture and provide leadership to regional distribution team
• Digitalization’s and TMS
•
• Support IT initiatives & Training and Development on IT tool thru Self as well as Team work
• TMS Deployment and adherence for the usage and monitoring on daily basis
• Minimum 10 to 12 years industry experience with at least 4 years in a Managerial position in the transportation or Logistics industry
• Rich Exposure to Operations, Network, Business development in similar industry
• Ability to work under advanced IT environment/Tech savvy
• Should have handled P&L responsibility for North Region
• Graduate / Postgraduate from reputed university
