As a part of our growth journey, we are looking for Assistant General Manager - North Region.
Assistant General Manager – North Region have dual reporting to the Head-Retail Banking and Head-Corporate Banking of the Bank. The role carries the overall responsibility and business development accountability for North Region of the Bank. The incumbent will be on the front-row seat to experience and drive the Bank’s business in North region (Delhi, Haryana, MP and Rajasthan) and be a part of a transforming organization in an industry which is evolving rapidly.
Brief job profile:
Candidate shall be responsible to achieve overall business targets of Retail Banking – Liabilities and Assets, Corporate Banking – Wholesale Credit and monitoring of overall branch operations, including Forex and trade finance, for North Region. Candidate should have sound credit knowledge and should essentially be a team player with strong administrative skills and leadership capabilities.
Requisite Qualifications and Experience:
• Should be ideally around 45 years of age and should possess degree of a recognized University. Professional qualifications such as CA/CS/MBA will be an added advantage.
• With overall 15 years post-qualification experience in banking industry.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years focused hands–on experience in retail banking, credit, branch operations, Forex & compliance, at senior management level.
Desired Skills & Competencies:
• Keen business acumen & strong understanding of banking processes and operations.
• Self-Starter, Self-driven with leadership qualities and man-management skills.
• A strong performer, strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
