Job Description
• Overall responsible for BB business performance, customer experience, people management and governance control for the region of responsibility
• Act as a contact point for RGM to outline BB business plan and performance delivery
• To ensure staff in the region of responsibility are well managed to deliver business performance and achieve targets
• To build a sustainable and scalable BB business for the region of responsibility
• To lead the overall development implementation and delivery of business strategy and financial plans for the region of responsibility (including cities in the region), within regulatory framework and the group s policies and risk guidelines
• To optimize resource allocation and growth opportunities towards delivering higher return e.g.,RoRWA
• To build and develop a high-quality sales force via structured training and people development jointly with the Functional Business Heads
• To massively multiply BB middle management bench strength
Key Responsibilities/Challenges:
Strategy and Business Performance
• Develop and execute business strategy in BB segments to achieve the following goals:
- Financials:
Regional revenues (all functional business streams) by product and by customer, Revenues growth, Cost/Income management, Footings & Market Share growth, etc
- Customers:
Manage and optimize BB regional portfolio risk versus return
• Put in place the necessary sales infrastructure in conjunction with Functional Business Heads to support good quality customer acquisitions and driving productivity gains
• Contribute towards establishing the strategy and priorities for the BB business in the region of responsibility
• Focus on building sales and conduct culture jointly with Functional Business Heads to fully maximize opportunities in line with SCB way
• Focus on performance achievement and health growth among the three business lines for their region.
Business Management
• Senior oversight of all BB sales teams in the cities in the region, and work closely with Functional Business Heads to build a sustainable and scalable BB business
• Coordinate geography expansion into new cities and rolling out the full BB product suite in each city
• Contribute towards developing innovative products, product-bundles and direc
