Job Description
Govt (Central & State Govt Beside Defence, Paramilitary Forces & Police), Municipal Dept & STUs are big purchaser of CVs both Load and Passenger. Unlike the normal retail market purchase mode, tendering process is employed. The institutional sales require a host of specialized skills like understanding of GeM process, liasoning with key Govt Bodies, Officials, Agents/vendors involved besides various Fabricators who provide customized solutions to Govt.
• Formulation of Strategies, Business plans both short and Long Term for respective zone.
• Achieving the Annual Business Plans, Market Share & Profitability
• Sales order generation, execution and payment realization, end to end closure
• Participation & winning the Tendering Business for Govt./PSUs/Defence
• Managing the Central Govt Procurement portal- GeM / DGS&D
• Identifying and developing key Govt applications
• Tie up with Bodybuilders/Fabricators to develop applications Coordinating with all internal and external stakeholders, dealers
Education - Diploma in Eng. BE, MBA(Marketing)

Exp – 2-+ years, Inst experience preferred

General Experience
2 to 3 years preferably in Govt/Defence Sales
Critical Experience
Well versed with Govt. systems like GeM / DGSandD/RFI/RFQ/RFP etc.Tendering Business knowledge including Defence/CPMFs Procurement.Should have a proven track record of closing deals within existing Govt./ PSU/ Defence accounts across India.Teamwork

• Must have experience in north zone market
• Target companies – Tata motors, Volvo Eicher, Ashok Leyland, SML Isuzu, Force Motors
• Experience of government sales & Defense – 2 to 3 yrs

• Tendering Process: well versed with Govt. procurement procedures/Tendering business & systems (GeM / DGS&D / RFI / RFP / RFQ etc) including Defence/CPMFs procurement procedure
