Job Description
A) Insurance Business Development 1) Working closely with sales team across hierarchy and ensuring Insurance business objective is met.2) Driving Business for Insurance products by regularly interacting with the line team & providing end to end support to sales team in terms of process & product related queries. 3) Push for maximum penetration of Insurance products in NTB acquisitions4) Maximize Insurance product holding for existing customers as well by pitching these products in the existing customer base 5) Drive team to meet annual and monthly sales budgets for Insurance products launched in their respective Zones.6) Monitor resource level productivity so that team achieves the allocated benchmark 7) Daily/weekly & monthly sales meetings/reviews to track performance is as per the planB) Training 1) Continuous training on Insurance products to Bank sales force via Insurance channel partners (HDFC Life, Tata AIA, HDFC Ergo, BAGIC, etc.) through Con-call, classroom training, VC, etc.2) Ensuring licensing/certification of RM/SO time to time.3) Monitor engagement matrix of Insurer line team with the HDFC Bank line team to ensure traction for the Insurance product at field level.C) Business & Product Analysis 1) Explore other avenues for sourcing Insurance business by focusing on big ticket cases through Banks existing base of Large farmers, Agri processing units, etc.2) Formulating business plan based on the geography, manpower and potential of the areaD) Liasioning with Insurer & support functions 1) Make sure that support functions such as Credit, regional Ops and CPU team are well aligned with existing process & there are no lags in between which can hinder the business.2) Co-ordinate with the Insurer to resolve any support issues faced by the line team on the Insurance products launchedE) Housekeeping 1) Ensuring renewals are well above the defined benchmark by TPP team2) Monitor the end to end TAT for policy issuance of the sourced Insurance cases & push the Insurer for adherence to the agreed TATs in case of any deviation 3) On-time settlement of Insurance claims by following up with the Insurer & making sure that all the claims are settled within the stipulated TAT F) Compliance & Customer complaints 1) Random sample checks to be done for right sourcing and prevention of mis-selling by staff.2) To ensure customer complaints are resolved within TAT.
