Responsibilities
1) responsible for driving the primary sales, secondary sales, and collection of the assigned area.
2) supervising the existing sales team and building an additional sales force.
3) responsible for monitoring dealer schemes within allotted budgets.
4) Inventory monitoring and management
5) analyse, monitor, and develop strategies to enhance the reach and penetration of EVs.
6) Develop specific strategies for different customer segments and ensure optimum utilisation of budgets and resources.
7) ensuring commercial hygiene compliance and forecast accuracy.
8) Coaching and developing the sales team to improve competencies and effectiveness in the areas of customer management, meeting effectiveness, and field implementation
+) Managing dealer and trade relationships by anticipating and proactively resolving issues and minimising dealer and field force attrition
10) Monitor competitor activity; anticipate and develop counter-strategies to the competition's efforts.
11) Facilitate compliance with corporate guidelines on sales systems and processes through active communication and control mechanisms.
Job requirements and qualifications
a) The candidate must have a post-graduate degree in sales and a graduate degree in engineering and have around 10
years of experience in automotive channel sales, along with exposure to electric vehicle sales at a regional or zonal level.
b) The person should have a proven track record and experience in handling regional sales teams, people management, cross-functional discussions, and negotiations.
c) Diversity in terms of region, function, different auto companies, segments, and verticals is highly desirable.
d) Multi-territory or regional exposure is highly desirable.
Prior team and region handling experience is mandatory.
