Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide recommendations regarding improvements and changes to the credit policies and procedures, documenting and circulating policies, to ensure that all requirements are fulfilled and risks are mitigated while delivering a high quality service to customers.
• Monitor the approvals / cancelation / freeze of the customers' credit limits and proceed to the relevant account's accurate and timely update to the available systems, so as to support the accurate provision of credit to customers.
• Communicates with the relevant Credit Analysts in case of clarifications required regarding the credit limits of the clients and proceeds to their accurate update.
• Provides the required information as requested from all the available systems regarding the customer accounts credit limit profile.
• Inform relevant teams regarding any potential change in the customer credit limit status, so as to support the accurate administration and management of the credit applications and customer accounts.
• Ensure implementation of the policies to ensure high quality of the retail portfolio while meeting the target TAT.
• Employ tools such as automation and digitization to increase process efficiency.
• Conduct detailed analysis of delinquencies and recommend changes to the product teams.
• Ensure the successful adoption of internal compliances & regulatory framework across the assigned region.
• Review and approve credit proposals given the discretionary authority and escalate others to those with the appropriate approval authority while ensuring compliance with the bank's credit policy.
Secondary Responsibilities:
• Monitor and review the performance of the retail credit portfolio on a regular basis, providing recommendations for adjustment where necessary. Contribute to portfolio management programs i.e. limit increases, loan postponements etc.
• Champion the adoption of high quality market intelligence and data analytics to meet the bank's growth and profitability objectives.
• Keep abreast with global market trends and competitor strategies in key markets.
Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities:
• Monitor key parameters on productivity, hiring quality and attrition rates and make necessary improvements.
• Champion IDFC First's customer first culture by driving the team to take up high degree servicing norms to ensure absolute customer delight.
• Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles in their reporting structure.
Educational Qualifications:
Graduate – Any
Post Graduate – MBA
Experience:
10+ years in credit operations
