Job Description:
• Zone Sales Planning
• Analyze the growth pattern of the assigned circle; gather market awareness and intelligence on the growth of HDFC banks in the circle; discuss the same with the team and propose the sales target to the superior
• Receive the finalized Annual Operating Plan (AOP) target (design target) from the superior basis past year's performance, business outlook and vertical's overall growth strategy Devise month wise strategy with the team and analyse key challenges / opportunities; propose steps for leveraging the available resources in the best possible manner to drive the sales targets Analyze, review and communicate the breakdown of overall circle's target to the branches and units, and across the team as established
• State Heads Review )
• Monitor key metrics and targets across the states daily on conference call; track daily achievement against set targets
• Understand challenges / issues and propose effective solutions to tackle the same
• Identify and analyse daily opportunities and drive team to drive closure for the same; provide guidance in critical in addressing difficult / critical aspects of sales closure
• Assess branch activation data and guide teams to target activated branches for sales
• Drive monthly meets, to discuss the circle's performance during the month, targets for the upcoming month; recognize top performers and discuss key learnings
• Regularly track key parameters governing effective sales in the circle and analyse low performing branches / areas; understand issues and guide effective resolution
• Constantly analyze trends and forecast events in case of deviations from planned, if any and share the information with the superior on a timely basis Participate in circle sales reviews at set frequencies with the superior to provide overview of performance of the circle; highlight complex issues and team achievements, share key learnings from the circle with other circle heads to ensure effective knowledge sharing
• Key Stakeholder Management
• Engage with top HDFC officials in the circle on a regular basis; share key developments in the industry along with product information in order to showcase organization credentials
• Drive collaboration with other internal functions like Claims / Underwriters / operations in cases requiring cross-functional intervention; ensure that any issue is resolved in an effective manner
• Direct and train team in managing key relationships with HDFC branches
• Analyze team attrition patterns, understand risk profile of team, and drive focused interventions to retain team members
• Sales Training
• Lead training efforts in the circle for upskilling of team to better deliver in terms of sales calls, customer management, sales planning, customer service, etc.
• Provide directions in planning and coordination of training efforts for team and agency network
• Conduct training programs / sessions for the team, on the market, conversion, products, product adaptation to the market, etc.
• Oversee execution of rewards and recognition policies to ensure reinforcement of right behaviors among team members
• Motivate and retain key talent in the sales hierarchy and build a strong leadership pipeline in the region
• Process Improvement
• Explore avenues of driving sales more efficiently by employing market analytics / insights

Skills Required:
10+ years of work experience in insurance industry with in-depth knowledge of claims processingpolicy formulation and industry knowledge particularly in non-motor line of business Thorough understanding of Bank Insurance products Strong market awareness and knowledge on competition strategy

Desirable Skills:
1.Good communication skills. 2.Flexible & adaptable to change. 3.Well versed with MS Office. 4.Should have good analytical and problem-solving skills. 5.Should be aware of the Local language
