Job Description
Lead sales & revenue generation for HARMAN’s Digital Transformation portfolio across multiple industry verticals. This position is based out of Hyderabad and reports to the Head of APAC Sales.
The position is accountable for growing existing accounts and hunting new business through Direct Sales and Customer Relationship Management. Focus is to grow the business above market rates with the combination of new account acquisition and existing account management. The position will work with Lead Generation & Pre-Sales teams to build a credible sales pipeline and hunt new accounts.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in selling to clients in the Industrial, Healthcare, Telecommunications, Retail & ISV domains. Knowledge of technology trends and an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape in these industries is essential. The candidate would be expected to leverage direct contacts into potential clients right out of the gate.
What You Need
• 12+ years of relevant experience in selling IT & Product Engineering services in predominantly sales roles to large enterprise clients.
• In-depth understanding of standards around Industry 4.0, Sustainability, and digital technologies like Cloud, Analytics, and AI/ML.
• Strong understanding and experience of working in a global/offshore outsourcing business model.
• Excellent customer interfacing skills – able to communicate clearly, develop & deliver technical pitches, and independently drive client meetings.
• Ability to develop value-based client relationships and promote them to long-term engagements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, to independently develop and execute on account plans and growth strategies.

• Proven experience in opening new logos, successfully leading new business development, and direct sales activities in India region
• Strong network and contacts in related industry segments
• Ability to lead/execute an aggressive prospecting strategy (targeted cold calls, tele-prospecting, email, and social media) for hunting accounts.
• High energy and ambition to drive portfolio growth.
• Run a disciplined sales pipeline including lead qualification, bringing an innovative approach to the sales process.
• Understand industry offerings and independently develop sales pitches to support initial client meetings/conversations.
• Willing to take up 40% of travel within India.
