Job Responsibilities:
The RSM will be responsible for ensuring achieving growth targets of the company, by driving sales and distribution of all products of the company.
· Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets in assigned region as per Annual Operating plan of the company and ensure its achievement on monthly basis.
· To plan launch of new products in new and existing stores and territories being managed, along with cross functional teams.
· Manage and lead a team of Area Sales Managers and Sales Officers and ensure their productivity and performance.
· Developing sales team through motivation, counselling, and product knowledge education.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers.
· market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
· Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the management.
· Monitor and ensure effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations.
· Stay updated with industry trends, products, and innovations.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
· Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
· Sell to existing and potential direct accounts as well as provide sales support to distribution partners and own team to participate in closing and order or to facilitate and add value to the selling process
· Managing logistics for timely delivery to distributors & ensuring distributors are servicing the market as per identified targets
Skills Requirement:
· Degree with MBA in Marketing or related field
· Minimum 10-12 Years of Sales experience in FMCG sector, out of which 6 years at similar position.
· Experience of existing geographies will be critical.
· Strategic thinker with good leadership, strong Analytical Skills and market intelligence.
· Having an entrepreneurial approach while ensuring achievement of long term goals.
