Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts in the Lucknow and Kolkata regions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sales strategy, revenue growth, and sales leadership within the mobile handset sales or technology distribution sector. This role requires proven success in team management, market analysis, and business development to ensure the achievement of ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies focused on achieving consistent revenue growth and meeting sales targets across the region.
Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team to foster collaboration and maximize productivity.
Conduct detailed market analysis and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities and anticipate market trends.
Build and maintain strong distributor relationships and manage channel distribution networks to extend market penetration.
Oversee sales forecasting and track sales metrics to monitor performance and adjust tactics for success.
Organize and deliver sales training programs to upskill the team and implement sales incentives to drive motivation and performance.
Collaborate closely with supply chain teams for efficient inventory management and supply chain coordination, ensuring timely product availability.
Drive customer acquisition and retention efforts to expand the client base and strengthen brand presence.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership on sales progress, forecasts, and market development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in mobile handset sales or technology sales.
Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong expertise in channel distribution and managing relationships with distributors and retail partners.
Excellent skills in conducting market analysis, interpreting competitive landscapes, and developing sales strategies.
Demonstrated ability in team management, sales leadership, and motivating sales personnel.
Hands-on experience in sales forecasting, tracking sales metrics, and utilizing sales analytics for decision-making.
Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain coordination processes.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to support business development.
