Regional Technical Manager - Mumbai
Reporting to : Credit Head.
Locations: Mumbai, Pune, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh
Compensation: Up to INR 21 Lakhs fixed CTC plus performance-based incentives.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Technical Manager for NBFC to oversee the valuations and collateral risk of mortgage business in Mumbai, Pune, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh regions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting technical checks and audits, cross checking of technical reports received from vendors, establishing standard processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Core Responsibilities:
• Liaise with valuation agencies & property brokers for market analysis and updates.
• Segment markets based on property types and identify properties with high risks.
• Develop and monitor technical policies related to the portfolio and delinquencies.
• Implement checks and processes to control fraud and ensure compliance with legal and technical aspects.
• Conduct property audits on sample basis to analyze collateral risk.
• Train and evaluate team proficiency levels, maintain TAT targets.
• Collaborate with legal counterparts on technical evaluation matters and maintain MIS related to evaluations.
• Assist collections in tying up with brokers and negotiating rates for resale of properties.
Qualifications:
• Graduate (Diploma/Degree) in Civil/Architecture or related field.
• Minimum experience of +-10 years in technical management.
• Candidate should be based out at Mumbai and he should be aware about markets of Mumbai & Pune.
• Strong understanding of property valuation, risk assessment, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Proficiency in market analysis and project management
