We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Director Trading to join our team based in New Delhi, India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our presence in markets such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

The successful applicant will have extensive experience in sales with a proven track record in South Asia. They will be self-motivated, organized, and able to manage all aspects of a business - planning, logistics, marketing, contracts, and administration.

The Commercial Director Trading will support the trading team by identifying sourcing opportunities that fit target markets, liaising and coordinating sales with customers, negotiating and securing best terms, ensuring smooth delivery and timely settlement of payments.

Key responsibilities include:
• Developing new business opportunities with new products, customers, and markets;
• Identifying sourcing opportunities that will fit the target markets;
• Liaising and coordinating sales with customers, negotiating and securing best terms, ensuring smooth delivery and timely settlement of payments;
• Making recommendations to the management team for planning, warehousing, and stocking of products based on supply, demand, and local pricing;
• Monitoring day-to-day developments in the global market and reacting timely and in a creative manner to take advantage of new opportunities;
• Supporting and coordinating logistics with our internal shipping department with the aim to provide exceptional customer service;
• Analyzing risks, understanding financials, and recommending extensions of finance terms to customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 – 10 years' experience in sales with a proven track record in South Asia;
• Self-motivated and able to operate independently and as part of a team;
• Organized and able to manage all aspects of a business – planning, logistics, marketing, contracts, and administration;
• Strong social and networking skills;
• English (written & spoken fluently) – any additional languages is a plus;
