You will be an integral part of our Gold Coast leadership team working closely, and collaboratively, with our Area Manager and Regional Head Nurse. You will join a network of passionate Regional Clinical Directors, who work together to drive high standards of care and best practices across our Greencross clinics.


Job Description

Job Overview: As a Regional Clinical Director at Greencross Vets, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of veterinary services across multiple clinics in the region.

You will spend time working clinically within your clinics to help train and develop the veterinarians in each site. Identifying training needs through this, will help guide a team of talented veterinarians and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration through team-based consulting and high clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

Undertake clinical days to work with the various teams, allowing you to build rapport and understand how you can help each individual team.
Oversee and guide veterinarians and clinic teams within your designated region.
Ensure the delivery of exceptional veterinary care, adhering to the Chief Veterinary Officers’ best practices and protocols.
Conduct regular training and development programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge within the teams.
Implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, client satisfaction, and overall clinic performance.
Collaborate with the General Manager, Area Managers, and other Regional Clinical Directors, to drive high standards of care and best practices.
Support the recruitment and onboarding of veterinarians and staff within your region.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and technology.

Qualifications
A degree in Veterinary Medicine and registration to practice in QLD.
Proven leadership experience in a veterinary setting, with a track record of successful team management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Passion for delivering excellent veterinary care and driving continuous improvement.
Innovative mindset and the ability to adapt to the evolving veterinary industry.
Willingness to travel between clinics within the region and help other regions cover leave or extra workloads.
