Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RECE to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a understanding of Montessori philosophy and a commitment to supporting the natural development of toddlers (18 months – 6 years). This role involves guiding children through their early developmental stages, with a focus on fostering independence, social-emotional growth, and practical life skills, including toilet independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a prepared Montessori environment that is safe, engaging, and aligned with AMI principles.
Observe, guide, and support each child’s individual development.
Encourage toilet independence with patience and respect, following Montessori principles.
Foster a sense of order, concentration, and coordination in the classroom.
Establish warm, respectful relationships with children and families.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and development.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school-wide events and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
RECE required.
Minimum 3-5 years experience working with children in a Montessori environment.
Strong understanding of early development, including practical life skills and toilet independence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
CPR/First Aid certification
Food Handling certification
