JOB DESCRIPTION

Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool and make a difference for our patients and our community.
Float Pool RNs will work on a variety of inpatient clinical units, clinics, and specialty centers.

Med/Surg RN’s will care for patients in orthopedics, rehabilitation, oncology, cardiology, observation, medicine, neurology, surgical, trauma, burn, and postpartum.

Progressive RN’s will care for progressive patients in cardiac, medicine, burn, trauma, neurology, and surgical.

ICU RN’s will care for patients in all of the above areas and patients needing critical care in one of our 4 ICU units: SICU, MICU, CCU and Burn ICU.

Our Professional Nursing Practice Model offers patient and family-centered care that maintains an unwavering focus on what matters most: caring and healing at the patient’s bedside. As a nursing professional you will be empowered to manage your clinical practice and working environment through our Shared Governance Model, which focuses on evidence-based nursing practice. Regions Hospital supports nurses with an individualized orientation including Transition to Regions Hospital Practice program which is a nurse residency structured program to support learning, role transition, and retention of nurses. All new hire registered nurses at Regions Hospital will be automatically enrolled. Our award-winning programs give our patients and their families a place of comfort and healing. Work Schedule: 0.70 Nights. 8 hour shifts during the week; 12 hour shifts every 3rd weekend.

Required Qualifications:

Degree in Nursing
Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers
Preferred Qualifications:

BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire
One year of acute care RN experience is preferred

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Pay within our ranges may also be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities as well as internal equity. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation based on role (e.g., shift differential, bonus, sales incentive, productivity pay, etc.).
