Salary band $142,813 - $240,440 and Kiwisaver.

We deliver excellent patient care while facilitating the development of outstanding Registrars.
Nurture Your Interests
We cover a wide range of medicine specialties, including diabetes and endocrinology, respiratory, renal, and much more. Our Consultants work alongside our Registrars to provide patient-focused care and high-quality teaching.
Ambulatory Work
Medical patients are admitted to General Medicine, ensuring excellent breadth and depth of exposure to a wide range of medical conditions. We maintain the care for acutely unwell patients including those requiring ICU admission.
Subspecialties
All other medical subspecialties are covered by visiting consultants from Dunedin Hospital. There is ample time and opportunity to nurture any subspecialty interests amongst trainees alongside their General Medicine experience.

Requirements
Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
One-year post-qualification experience and good exposure to general medical runs as an RMO.
