About the role
As a Regulated Parking Officer you will be part of the Local Laws and Parking team, and will be responsible for the provision of efficient support in relation to community compliance, animal management, licensing and investigation services.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Conduct proactive and reactive investigations into parking and other vehicle related breaches of relevant Local Laws and State legislation. Including the regulated parking enforcement in school zone areas, business, commercial industrial areas, and residential area enforcement
Collect evidence such as taking photos and make notes and undertake an analysis of information to substantiate decisions for an appropriate enforcement action to be taken
Provide evidence in a court of law as required
Issue verbal and written warnings, formal notices and penalty infringement notices for breaches of legislation and Council's Local Laws
Perform after hours duties when required to support Compliance Branch activities

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Current Queensland "C" class Driver's Licence
Desired
Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent
Substantial experience to carry out the range of duties required
