Regulatory Performance Specialist
Detailed Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Performance Specialist to join our team at the Department of Justice.
The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to embed best practice principles for regulatory performance within WorkSafe Tasmania.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level strategic advice to executive leadership and Board members on regulatory performance best practice principles.
Design, develop, and implement workforce strategies and development activities to strengthen capability.
Establish transparent external accountability processes to build public trust and confidence in WorkSafe's regulatory functions.
Develop and prepare high-level documentation, including policy documents and procedural guidelines.
Conduct environmental scans and engage with other regulators and stakeholders to share learnings and insights.
Requirements:
Experience in designing, developing, and delivering workplace training and development programs.
Working knowledge of work health and safety legislation.
Relevant tertiary qualifications.
Ability to travel between work locations across the state.
