Job Title: RCP Regulatory Transformation, PMO & Governance

Location: Bangalore

Corporate Title: Vice President

Department: Regulatory & Cross Product Operations, Regulatory Strategy & Governance Team

About The Role

The Regulatory & Cross Product Operations team are a core function to the bank providing timely Regulatory Reporting, Trader Surveillance, Risk and Client Asset Mgt,, Reconciliation and Network Mgt and careful planning around upcoming Regulatory deliveries. A Regulatory Transformation lead would work with stakeholders on multiple key initiatives/ rollouts with bank wide impact. The role will also involves providing strong ongoing governance around our key performance Indicators and Management Reporting to senior stakeholders

Your Key Responsibilities
• Provide strong governance around Management Reporting to senior stakeholder
• Understand the scope of a project/ new initiatives and help to build out project plans/ mechanism for tracking
• Manage scope of deliveries, manage expectations and ensure clear and concise communication to sponsors, team members and other stakeholders
• Ensure discipline in receiving quality updates and adherence to timelines
• Liaising with internal and external teams to propose developments to the current architecture in order to ensure greater compliance with Regulatory requirements and drive improved STP processing of our reporting across all asset classes
• Perform root cause analysis or exceptions with investigation & appropriate escalation of any significant issues found through testing, rejection remediation or any other stream to senior management to ensure transparency exists in our controls
• Build strong relations with key stakeholders
• Challenge current processes and suggest process efficiencies that are sustainable
• Manage escalations and ensure resolutions on or before time
• Plan and manage risks appropriately

Your Skills And Experience
• Minimum 5 years of Investment Banking (Operations) experience
• 3+ years project and programme delivery experience
• Experience working on change the bank / financial industry projects
• Regulatory Experience is preferred
• Great verbal and written communication skills with experience of reporting to senior management
• Excellent presentation skills & attention to detail
• Ability to work independently & deliver in demanding environment to meet the set deadlines, whilst maintaining quality
• Team player, highly motivated, practical problem solver
• Inquisitive and probing approach to problem solving & reviewing MIS / commentary
• Demonstrable adherence to the Bank’s Values and Beliefs
• Master’s Degree level education – preferred (Not Mandatory)
• Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean certified – or equivalent (Not Mandatory)
