Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team and lead the design and implementation of data management systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relational SQL, caching, and data modeling.
Key Accountabilities:
- Developing and maintaining data models to meet business requirements.
- Designing and implementing data governance policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Leading data migration projects using AWS Glue & AWS DMS to Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement ETL & Data Pipelines using Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows and Glue jobs features.
Requirements:
- Experience in S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, and Kinesis.
- Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK for database provisioning.
- Implementing IAM, encryption (AWS KMS), access control policies, and compliance frameworks.
Nice to Have:
- Expertise in Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery for data warehousing.
- Familiarity with Apache Spark, EMR, Hadoop, or Kinesis for big data processing.
