A PR Manager is typically responsible for managing a portfolio client and promoting them to their target audiences. An influencer of public opinion, you grow brands and help drive sales through a range of PR tools such as news items, press releases, case studies, product placement and social media activity. You will be the key to shaping your clients reputation and profile and will manage their press coverage and often advertising.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop and execute effective communications strategies for Carnation/Cardinal business through a sustained, strategic, program that supports local business objectives
• Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders, customers, key journalists, and influencers.
• Write and edit media alerts, pitches, PR plans, blogs, bylined articles, and related materials
• Amplify marketing events and initiatives with media relations programs including news announcements, educational media briefing content, and one-on-one engagements with customers

• Minimum of six years’ public relations experience
• Fluent written and verbal English
• Experience working directly with technology businesses, and developing their stories
• Proven experience managing large projects
• Experience with India’s technology landscape
• Able to work cross-functionally within a matrixed international team

• Understanding of, and passion for, the startup ecosystem, and empathy for the unique needs and experiences of a founder
• Ideally have experience working for or with startups
