IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Relationship Manager to join our Wholesale Banking team in the Corporate Coverage department. As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with corporate clients, providing them with a wide range of banking and financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients in the assigned portfolio
- Understand the clients' financial needs and provide them with appropriate banking solutions
- Credit analysis and preparation of credit memos; maneuvering proposals in the system internally
- Portfolio monitoring on ongoing basis
- Cross-sell various products and services offered by the bank to existing clients
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients through proactive business development activities
- Collaborate with internal teams such as credit, treasury, and transaction banking to provide comprehensive solutions to clients
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- CA or MBA from a reputed B School.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate banking, with a focus on relationship management
- Strong understanding of corporate banking products and services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of local market and industry trends
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software
