POSITION / TITLE: RELEASE MANAGER
As a Junior Release Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of patches to our on-prem customers. You will be responsible to coordinate with all the key stakeholders and meet the deadlines to deliver the patches to our on-prem customers. A good understanding of Agile best practices is a must in your role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the release schedules for bi-weekly patch releases and quarterly major releases are meeting the timelines.
Obtain signoffs from different stakeholders before the patch/ minor/ major releases.
Manage release documentation, including release notes and deployment guides.
Oversee smooth deployment of software upgrades across deployment models.
Monitor release progress and address issues and dependencies.
Communicate release status and potential impact to stakeholders.
Atlassian Jira administration
Coordinate release readiness activities, including testing and validation for on-prem customer defects.
Ensure stakeholder communication and track improvement areas to closure.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1-2 Yearxperience in Jira.
Inclination towards Release Management subject area.
Strong understanding of release management principles and best practices.
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Proficiency in Atlassian Jira
Possess good problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
