Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Front Desk Clerk / Relief Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently while ensuring all guest information is accurately recorded.
Perform night audit duties, including balancing daily transactions and preparing reports for management.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively to ensure guest satisfaction
Maintain a working knowledge of Hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to assist guests with their needs.
Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and relay messages as necessary.
Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance guest experiences and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements

Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality management preferred.
Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
Proficient in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems effectively.
Experience with night audit processes is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
