Float Assistant Educators | on-call casual

We’re on the lookout for an Early Learning star who:

Brings solid experience in early childhood education - confidently supporting daily routines and creating engaging learning experiences.

Cheers on their fellow educators and help build a thriving community

Sparks joy and curiosity in every little learner they meet

As a Float Educator, you’ll be the friendly face popping into different rooms, bringing calm, consistency, and a helping hand wherever it’s needed most. Whether you’re settling babies or jumping in during the lunch rush - you’ll be a much-loved part of every team. You’ll help create safe, playful, and inspiring spaces across the centre, building strong bonds with children, families, and educators along the way.

At Sparrow Early Learning Pacific Pines, we believe that building strong community ties provides a safe and enjoyable learning environment which then builds lifelong learners. We provide a play-based program which is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. What you’ll need:

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care

Proven Educator Assistant experience and a great energy

Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Play-based Child-led pedagogy

Current Working with Children Check

Excellent communication & leadership skills

Experience with Storypark is a bonus

First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
