Valid Alaska Driver’s license (or obtain within 3 months of being hired) with a good enough driving record to be covered by Maniilaq’s insurance
Responsibilities
Delivers, receives, and enroutes mail & supplies
Maintains equipment, supplies, reports repairs and files accidents
Handles packing slips and other documents and reports discrepancies and/or damage
Identifies, marks, and places stock in appropriate permanent or temporary storage areas
Assists customers with orders, prepares supply orders for village clinics
Operates program vehicles in the movement of supplies, mail, equipment, personnel or visitors
Checks for adequate supply of fuel, air pressure, condition of vehicle and reports any needed repairs to supervisor
Maintains interior and exterior of vehicle in clean condition
Files accident reports as necessary
Delivers supplies and equipment items to proper destinations
Assembles packs and ships stock items to field locations
Assures and maintains proper cleanliness of all program storage areas
Maintains and assures adequate stock of oxygen tanks
Delivers and picks up mail at the Kotzebue U.S. Post Office
Performs routine tasks in the mailroom
Assists in sorting mail and parcels
Signs for registered and insured mail

POSITION SUMMARY

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
