Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Program/Project Administrator to oversee the School-Based Mental Health (SBMH) Program. In this pivotal role, you will facilitate effective communication and collaboration among students, faculty, and partner agencies, contributing significantly to the advancement of mental health and social work services within educational settings.

Key Responsibilities
• Student Recruitment: Identify and attract exceptional Master of Social Work (MSW) students for the SBMH cohort.
• Curriculum Coordination: Assist in the refinement and enhancement of the MSW curriculum to ensure alignment with the SBMH program’s objectives.
• Community Partnership Development: Organize and lead meetings with community partners to broaden practicum placement opportunities and cultivate strong relationships with local schools.
• Marketing & Communications: Create and disseminate marketing and training materials, such as videos, social media content, and brochures, to elevate awareness of the SBMH program and promote it as a viable career path.
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Provide guidance to MSW students, aiding them in navigating their educational and career trajectories, including job search strategies and licensure preparation.
• Evaluation & Reporting: Support the collection and analysis of program data, assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations.
• Program Promotion: Represent the SBMH program at various events and meetings, showcasing its activities, objectives, and achievements.
• Grant Management: Ensure compliance with grant objectives and oversee financial practices and budget management for the program.

Required Skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities, coupled with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in developing marketing and training materials tailored to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated experience working with community organizations and understanding multicultural/multilingual dynamics.

Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field by the designated start date.
• Preferred: Recent experience (within the last 4 years) in school-based mental health services.
• Experience with grant-funded initiatives and familiarity with university or K-12 environments.
• Prior experience in mental health or behavioral health settings is advantageous.
