About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and passionate Community Manager to join our team. This role will start with managing one client, requiring a commitment of 5 hours per week. For this client, availability at 11 AM Eastern, Monday through Friday, is essential. As we grow, your hours will expand, offering an opportunity to manage multiple clients. We also may have other social media management work if that is of interest down the line.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement:

Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions on social media platforms.

Foster positive relationships with followers, addressing inquiries and escalating issues as needed.

Content Moderation:

Ensure that all user-generated content aligns with community guidelines.

Remove inappropriate or harmful content promptly.

Client-Specific Tasks:

Provide consistent engagement at the designated time slot (11 AM Eastern).

Requirements:

Reside in the US or Canada (VPN usage is prohibited). We used an international person for this position and the VPN didn't work and now an account has primarily international audience.

Reliable availability at 11 AM Eastern, Monday-Friday for the initial client.

Proven experience in social media or community management roles.

Excellent written communication skills with a friendly, professional tone.

Familiarity with social media platforms, tools, and analytics.

Highly organized with strong time management skills.

Ability to adapt to different brand voices and audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with multiple client accounts.

You should also be able to speak in different tone voices.

Essentially, you will just be scrolling social media, engaging with a brands target audience and that's really it. Great for marketers wanting to get into social media.
