Position Summary
We are seeking a Remote Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy operations team. This role focuses on accurate prescription data entry, patient profile maintenance, and administrative pharmacy support, working closely with licensed pharmacists and registered pharmacy technicians.
This position does not involve patient counseling or clinical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately enter prescription and patient data into the pharmacy management system
Maintain and update patient demographic and insurance information
Review incoming prescriptions for completeness and route issues to pharmacists
Assist with prescription intake and refill processing (non-clinical)
Support pharmacy workflow through administrative and clerical tasks
Communicate internally with pharmacists and technicians regarding data discrepancies
Follow all HIPAA, state board of pharmacy, and company compliance policies
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $10.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
