Job Title: Data Scientist (FMCG/CPG)

Location: Remote in India

Duration: + month contract

Working Hours: 8:00-5:00pm IST

Key Responsibilities:

Leverage machine learning and statistical techniques to measure price elasticity, promotional effectiveness, and customer behavior.

Work with large datasets in Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory, ensuring data integrity and efficient processing.

Build and maintain automated pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and modeling.

Develop interactive Power BI dashboards to communicate insights to business stakeholders.

Partner with marketing, sales, and revenue management teams to translate data insights into actionable pricing and promotional strategies.

Continuously evaluate and improve data models to ensure they align with business needs.

Requirements:

7+ years experience as a data scientist

Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, PySpark

Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory for big data processing and automation.

Experience in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development.

Strong understanding of pricing analytics, price elasticity modeling, and promotional ROI measurement.

Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

Familiarity with time series forecasting and predictive modeling for pricing strategies.

Knowledge of A/B testing and causal inference techniques for promotions analysis.
