We specialize in pre-surgical mental health assessments specifically for patients seeking weight loss surgery (bariatric surgery) and spinal procedures (Spinal Cord Stimulators/Intrathecal Pumps). We are experts in performing mental health assessments. We have performed over 175,000+ pre-surgical assessments since 2012 and we are continuing to grow.

As part of our holistic approach to these life-changing surgical procedures, we also offer therapy sessions to patients who need the extra support. These patients include pre-op and post-op bariatric patients and chronic pain patients.

In this position you will:
• Complete pre-operative biopsychosocial assessments on patients seeking bariatric surgery and neuromodulation procedures to ensure that mental health issues would not prohibit them from being capable of following through with post-op recommendations and follow-up requirements.
• You will deliver evidence-based assessment and therapy services to our counseling patients.
• Complete required documentation in patient’s records in a thorough and timely manner.

We are looking to hire a fully licensed mental health professional (LPC, LCSW,LMFT ) residing in any of the 50 united states.

Our therapists give us a block of 1-hour slots in which they can conduct a clinical Audio/Video assessment/counseling session remotely. We will fill your slots based on a block of times that you specify. You have 100% freedom in the slots you choose. We then have patients that reside in the state(s) that you are licensed in to book in the slots you choose. We compensate you for your time and expertise for every report/note generated. Willingness to obtain licensure in other states is a plus. Advantage Point Behavioral will compensate for any fees associated with other state licenses.

Skills Required:
• Experience in individual counseling for adults
• Excellent writing skills
• Reliable internet connection and comfortable with technology
• US resident
• Flexibility: Advantage Point Behavioral can be your main source of income or a supplement to your current work. You choose how many slots you would like to fill. You are in control of your schedule and are free to choose the times that work best for you.
• Bilingual: Spanish (PREFERRED)

PROOF OF CURRENT COUNSELING LICENSE REQUIRED (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
