Responsibilities:
- Define and develop technical standards to create and maintain programs that will run on SAP systems
- Develop code in ABAP language and ensure it’s efficient and compliant with SAP best practices
- Participate in testing and validating operating controls to fulfill development requirements
- Analyze high-level business processes and requirements to ensure a quality product
- Participate in project quality management, peer review the specifications, design documents, and code optimization
- Assist in optimizing work processes by automating tasks and building data processing functions
- Manage and analyze public and hybrid clouds while integrating and maintaining SAP solutions
- Stay current with emerging technology trends and suggest improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of experience in building SAP solutions (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Knowledge of ABAP programming and SAP systems like HR and FICO
- Expertise in developing SMART Forms and SAPscript
- Experience in web service development
- Solid understanding of SAP workflow development
- Fluency in the English language for effective communication
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and object-oriented programming
- Experience working with hybrid and public cloud systems, containerization, orchestration, and workflow automation
- Knowledge of AIOps, Kubernetes, DevOps best practices
- Experience in maintaining and integrating SAP SaaS solutions
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong time-management and interpersonal skills
