A fast-growing company dedicated to building a robust interactive streaming platform that enables users to engage with audiences is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be assisting the existing team on an ATS system migration and will design and maintain databases. The company provides developers with simple, tailored, and generally compatible APIs that allow them to embed real-time video and audio into their apps without having to construct their own infrastructure. This role requires a significant overlap with the IST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with users, stakeholders, and other team members to plan, develop, and shape new features
• Develop Golang back-end components, as well as testing and documentation
• Communicate on PRs and code reviews with teammates
• Learn and develop technical skills by reading code, documentation, running experiments, and talking to colleagues
• Ensure the code is clean, stable, maintainable, testable, and modular
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5-7+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
• Prolific experience working with Go/Golang and related technologies
• 5+ years of server-side web application development experience
• Extensive knowledge of GraphQL and SQL-based database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, and others
• Back-end development experience in cloud systems such as AWS, with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
• Solid knowledge and expertise creating and architecting modern, scalable, and fault-tolerant SaaS frameworks
• Nice to have some knowledge of FAANG
• Prior expertise securing GDPR and other regulatory compliance is preferred
• Unit testing frameworks and Docker deployment experience are a plus
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
