To Lead the clinical team in the remote delivery of safe and effective care to patients accessing NUPAS services. NUPAS provide consultation, medical and surgical abortions, contraception and ****** health services. To promote, support and deliver safe and efficient abortion and associated services in line with the Abortion Act 1967, Department of Health of Social Care, RSOPs and NUPAS policies and standard operating procedures. The postholder will work closely with the Regional Manager to ensure there is a seamless Patient focused service ensuring that the experience provided to the patient simultaneously meets CQC regulations, NUPAS own excellent high standards and markets the service - encouraging growth.
To assist the Regional Manager to support and manage the remote services to achieve group objectives and comply with corporate strategy, using the corporate framework to support the principle of the right of people to limit the size of their family. The post holder will be fully conversant with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and understand the importance of compliance. The postholder will assist in the development of remote services practices in order to meet the requirements of national and local strategies as identified by the Integrated Care Boards (ICBs). The postholder will be experienced in providing appropriate contraceptive and reproductive health and ****** health care and provide leadership for the development of nurse led services.
The postholder will develop systems, processes, and procedures in order to meet key performance indicators. Undertaking audit and acting upon results as required to ensure safe and effective practices in line with local and national guidelines. The post holder will maintain and ensure that a high standard of care and assessment is implemented throughout remote services at NUPAS to minimise risk of harm to clients. The post holder will oversee the education and support of staff in remote services, to promote and encourage safe and effective remote services at NUPAS.
